Why choose timber fencing when the harsh Australian climate reduces the life span of a new modern timber fence, and it also contains Arsenic. The timber rots, twists, dries out and really doesn't last as long as it should, COLORBOND® Steel fencing, in the long run is a much better alternative, no chemicals to leech into the soil or contaminate your children's hands. You don't have to paint a COLORBOND® Steel fence as the colour is already a part of the COLORBOND® process. a new COLORBOND® Steel fence lasts many many years and still looks good. You can also use COLORBOND® as part of your pool fencing requirements as there is no centre rails and to think you will be still neighbour is fixing or painting their old wooden fence.

if you want that something extra why not add a steel plinth to go under your fence rather than use the thin treated pine fencing which you will need to replace in a few years.
